How to Create a Sales Channel [Step-by-step guide]

To connect to a Vendor's system, you will have to create a Sales Channel connection.

Once the connection has been established between the system and techOMS, you will be able to import Sales Orders, as well as synchronizing products, receive Sales Orders updates and stock updates.


NOTE: Make sure that you are operating at the right Vendor/Warehouse beforehand.



To create a Sales Channel you will have to:


1. Click Channels under Sales Channels


2. Click Create to deploy the fields for creation



3. Complete the fields accordingly



  • Application: System to which you will be connecting (WooCommerce, Shopify, etc)
  • Name: Sales Channel's name
  • Host: Vendor system's URL (e.g. http://woocommerce.your.url.io)


NOTE: There could be additional fields required depending on the Channel type, define these as well.


4. Press Save to apply the changes
