How to Add a TForce Freight Canada Baseline Account [Guide]

This guide explains how to add and configure a TForce Freight Canada Baseline Account.


A Baseline Carrier Account defines the default configuration required for the platform to communicate with the carrier and generate shipping labels. This setup is required before adding Client (Billing) Accounts and enabling shipping operations for this carrier.

Prerequisites


Before adding the Baseline Account, ensure the following prerequisites are completed:


Carrier-Specific Instructions


Carrier Tab


The Carrier tab contains the Baseline configuration used to identify the Carrier account and define its operational behavior. Fields in this view are grouped visually to distinguish mandatory (red-highlighted items) and optional (blue-highlighted items) carrier-specific settings.


A

Username: Enter the API username provided by TForce Freight. This value is required to authenticate the Baseline connection.

Password: Enter the API password provided by TForce Freight. This value is required to complete authentication.

Pickup Open Time: Enter the time when the warehouse becomes available for pickup.

     

D

Pickup Close Time: Enter the time when the warehouse stops receiving pickups.

     

E

Pickup Ready Hours: Enter the number of hours needed after opening before the shipment is ready for pickup.

     

F

Site ID: Enter the Site ID exactly as provided by TForce Freight.

     

G

Sender Name: Enter the default sender contact name used for the warehouse induction address.

     

H

Sender Company: Enter the default sender company name associated with the induction address.

     

I

Address 1: Enter the primary street line of the warehouse induction address.

     

J

Address 2 and Address 3: Use these optional fields only when additional sender address detail is required.

     

K

City, State/Province, Zip, and Country: Complete these fields with the warehouse induction address used for this TForce Freight Canada configuration.

     

Phone: Use this optional field when you want a default sender phone associated with the Baseline sender address.

   


Warning

WARNING: Accepted phone values are limited to 20 characters. Formats using text such as EXT may exceed the accepted length and cause processing errors.

  
   

     

Labels Tab


Set Mode to one of the following values: ZPL, PDF, PNG.
