Overview
Techdinamics Automated Integration for Amazon Direct Fulfillment includes Order download, Fulfillment update and Inventory update.
Important: This implementation requires the merchant party to generate their own Amazon API keys with the necessary PII access levels. If this is not done, the warehouse will not receive enough data to fulfill orders. See below section for more information.
Order process
Order download from Amazon is supported in Trigger based manner (Techdinamics downloads all orders that fit the criteria and were created in the past 60 to 30 minutes every 30 minutes)
Orders may apply the following filters upon download:
- Region (Default na)
Upon download of the order, it is acknowledged in Amazon with a full accept confirmation.
Once the orders have been processed to the target system, they cannot be updated or deleted through the integration.
Upon fulfillment by the warehouse, Techdinamics uploads a single fulfillment document back to Amazon. The fulfillment includes quantities shipped, carrier used, tracking number and date shipped.
Inventory process
Standard process for Inventory update supports a single feed of Available quantities from one warehouse facility to a single warehouse setup in Amazon. The feed is executed on a daily basis, after work hours.
Customization
The above process is subject to customization according to a specific business process. Please contact your account or project manager if you require a process that is not covered by the standard integration.
PII access
Amazon requires additional details from the merchant registering for PII access over API. Please make sure all the necessary use cases are selected on your developer application form, including Direct-to-Consumer Shipping (Restricted).
