When onboarding/adding a new RAMP portal the following information needs to be provided and verified:
TO BE PROVIDED
- Ramp Username (customer provided)
- Ramp Password (customer provided, it's BASE64, if you're provided with a plain one, convert to BASE64)
- Ramp Service URL (customer provided, customer should reach RAMP if not correct)
- *Ramp Facility (customer provided, RAMP Warehouse Instance identifier)
- *Ramp Warehouse (customer provided, RAMP Warehouse identifier)
ADDITIONAL ELEMENTS (OPTIONAL)
- Import Carton ID as Tracking: The shipment tracking is updated with the carton ID number
- Import Cartons Separately: Allows to import the cartons from a single order, separately
- Ramp Use Action Retrieve with Detail: Allows to bring the Carton and Order details into techSHIP
- Ramp Use Action Retrieve with Content: Allows to bring the Carton and Order contents (packages and items) into techSHIP
- Ramp Use WEIGHTORDERED: Uses the provided weight from RAMP
- Disable carton duplicate check (Desktop): Disables verifying carton duplicates, works in Desktop Client only
* Facility and Warehouse are not required for IMPORT, but they are required for UPDATING information back to the WMS
