This document details all the fields available to set up a UPS Small Parcel Billing account.
These are detailed below:

Payment type | Select the Payment Type; the account number provided will be used in conjunction with this mode | |||
Packaging | Select the packaging type that will be reported to UPS; Use “Customer supplied package” for generic packaging, or other options for branded packaging | |||

Hold for pickup | Indicates if the carrier needs to hold the package at a pickup office instead of delivering it to the consignee address; default expects the order to determine if true or false, while enabled forces true and disabled forces false | |||
Locate pickup office | If checked, requests the carrier to locate a pickup office, used with hold for pickup office only | |||
Notify recipient by email | If checked, requests the carrier to send e-mail notifications to the ship-to e-mail provided as part of the order | |||
Additional notification code | Indicates if any additional notification (e.g. Quantum View) has to be included | |||
Rateshop Surepost | Includes Surepost results in the Rate Shopping | |||
Rateshop Mail Innovations | Includes Mail Innovations results in the Rate Shopping | |||
Skip Generic UPS rateshop | If checked, it boosts Rate Shopping performance by ignoring (not including) UPS regular services and focusing in Mail Innovations services | |||
Currency code for COD | Currency Code to be use for COD shipments | |||
Proof of age 21 | Indicates if the order will dictate if Proof of Age of 21 years is enabled or not (default), or if it will be arbitrarily enabled or disabled | |||
Alcohol | Indicates if the order ships alcohol or not (enabled or disabled), disabled by default | |||
Shipper release | Indicates if the order will dictate if the carrier should abandon the package if enabled or not (default), or if it will be arbitrarily enabled or disabled | |||
Freight pricing (ground) | If option is selected, for ground shipments UPS will return freight ground price | |||
USPS Service Endorsement | Indicates how packages will be handled to the USPS whenever applicable based on the services and accessorials selected | |||
Merge MI and CN22 labels | If checked, it merges the Mail Innovations labels with CN22 labels when applicable | |||
Skip trade documents | If checked, trade documents are not generated. If option is selected you will need to provide customs invoice in your own format | |||
Reason for export | Complete with the reason for export (Commercial, Gift, etc.) | |||
Shipper tax number | Provide the shipper Tax number for legal reasons | |||
Currency code for export | Currency code used for international shipments | |||
Terms of sale | Indicate the terms of sale (DDP, DDU, etc.) | |||
Override importer address | If checked, reveals additional fields to override the importer name, company, address, phone and tax number | |||
Additional comments | Allows to add comments for the CI if needed | |||
Declaration statement | Allows to add the declaration statement for customs purposes | |||
Override return address | If checked, reveals additional fields to override the return address with name, company, address and phone number | |||
Print Return Labels | If checked, prints return labels for every order | |||
Return shipper account # | Account number that will pay for the return labels if the shipper will pay for them | |||
Return bill receiver account # | Account number that will pay for the return labels if the receiver (not consignee, broker) will pay for them | |||
Return bill third party account # | Account number that will pay for the return labels if a third party will pay for them | |||
Return bill postal | Registered postal code of the used account | |||
Return bill country | Registered country code of the used account | |||
Shipper account # | Account number that will pay for shipping if the sender will do so | |||
Bill receiver account # | Account number that will pay for shipping if the receiver (not consignee, broker) will do so | |||
Bill third party account # | Account number that will pay for shipping if a third party will do so | |||
Bill postal | Registered postal code of the used account | |||
Bill consignee | Indicates if the consignee will be billed if it is enabled or not (default), or if it will be arbitrarily enabled or disabled; this applies for US/PR – PR/US shipments | |||
Bill country | Registered country code of the used account | |||
Use as default third party bill postal and country | If checked the bill postal and country will be used as default | |||
Duties paid by | Indicates who pays for duties. Default is the consignee, Receiver typically a broker, Sender the account owner, and Third Party, an associated 3rd Party account | |||
Cost center | Alphanumeric value that assigned to the UPS account being used by the UPS Mail Innovations account manager, used for report and billing summarization | |||
Package ID | Reference you will use to send as Package ID | |||
Ship from name | Ship From name that will be shown in the label | |||
Attention name | Attention/Company name that will be shown in the label | |||
Ship from phone | Ship From phone that will be shown in the label | |||
Reformat ship-to phone | If checked, reformats the ship-to phone to a valid one for the carrier | |||
Substitute missing ship-to phone | If checked, enables a new field to enter a phone number that will automatically fill the phone, if empty | |||
Override Ship from (induction) address | If checked, enables the fields to override the induction address (effectively changes the induction address) | |||
Override Label From address | If checked, enables fields to override the label from address (does not change the induction address) | |||
Dangerous goods | Indicates if the shipment has Dangerous Goods if it is enabled or not (default), or if it will be arbitrarily enabled or disabled | |||
HazMat commodity regulated level | Determines the level of regulation applicable to the Dangerous Goods being shipped | |||
Enable dangerous goods signatory | If checked, enables additional fields to set the signatory name, title, place and level of the shipment declaration |
