UPS (REST) - Onboarding Requirements [Information]

WARNING: Keys are not provided anymore. UPS does not provide connection keys since June 1st, 2023, and SOAP connection functionality will be disabled by UPS in 2024, fully migrating to REST.

When onboarding/adding a new UPS account the following information needs to be provided and verified:

TO BE PROVIDED

- UPS.com Username

- UPS.com Password

- Induction Address

- Pickup Open/Close/Ready time (Preferably)

- (Optional) UPS Mail Innovations rates keys, if you will use Mail Innovations and require rates

TO BE VERIFIED

1) The Username and Password log in at: https://www.ups.com/upsdeveloperkit?loc=en_CA

2) The UPS.com User should have permissions to see the Payment Options section; Campuship users may not have access to register root UPS keys and may need to contact their UPS Campuship admin (root user)

How to troubleshoot this? - Extend permissions for that username (a UPS representative's help might be needed)

3) The account must be added as a Payment Method
